The Challenge
With offices located worldwide, Sevcon’s overseas call expenditure, mobile phone costs and travel expenses were significant while the absence of a centralised directory for company contacts made it increasingly difficult to communicate effectively across the group using the existing telephony systems.
Together, these negatives presented a very real need for a communications infrastructure overhaul and a new solution that would support the firm’s vast geographical spread in a costeffective and efficient manner.
